Students are often more engaged when they are learning outside and have a chance to explore their surroundings. Some typical locations for tutoring in-person are libraries, student’s homes, and cafes.

Pros: Control environment where students are familiar Easy for student to get to so less risk of time delays

Cons: Could be dangerous for tutors 

Libraries

Pros: It is a quiet place Books in library can be great resource Can rent private rooms to imitate study centers Internet Access
Cons: Often busy so hard to find a good place
Have a potential to be noisy

 

Coffee Shop/Cafes

Pros: Great Internet Access

Tables to easy do study sessions

Cons: Might need to buy something from the counter

Can be noisy due to orders
